Differentiation of Student with Special Needs
Dan is eager to participate in all activities and likes to hear that he has done well. Dan has ADHD and many times get distracted with ease. Dan has difficulty focusing on assignments. Dan needs constant reminders to get back to work. He tends to get out of his seat and many times needs to be redirected.
Dan will be placed in a group with a high achieving student to help direct him and let him know about his responsibilities in the Mini-Presentation. As a way to help Dan stay focused during the presentations and to help him write his thoughts down, Dan will be given a handout to help him gather his thoughts an take notes. This sheet will be handed in as a way to assess Dan's learning of the material.
